In accordance with Department of Health guidelines, we can offer an appointment with a doctor within 48 hours and a health care professional within 24 hours.
Appointments are for one medical problem only and we cannot guarantee that appointments will be with the doctor of your choice.
Patients are welcome to see any doctor at the surgery. For continuity of care, we suggest that patients see the same doctor for any ongoing problems when possible.
On-line appointment booking is available for General Practitioners. SMS texting is also available for appointment reminders to your mobile phone. Please ask at reception for details and a "password" to enable you to use these services.
Genuine, acute medical emergencies will be seen by a clinician on the same day. The receptionists have been requested by the GPs to ask patients for information relating to the presenting symptoms, the duration and type of symptoms to prioritise the medical emergency.
Patients should NOT abuse this service.
Our Nurse Practitioners are available during the day to assess, diagnose and treat acute illness. Please contact reception for further details.
