Surgery Facilities

The Surgery building at Billingborough was purpose built in 1984 in a beautiful setting overlooking the spring.

A loft conversion was completed in 2007. This accommodates the administration team, Practice Manager, drug preparation room and a secure storage room.

In 2010 two new additional consulting rooms and a large purpose built Dispensary were added to the main building.

Finally an additional rear extension was completed in June 2012 with a multi-purpose consulting room, staff facilities, a Phlebotomy room and storage.

All consulting and treatment rooms are situated on the ground floor with good access for wheelchairs.

There is a patient toilet close to the front entrance with baby changing facilities provided.

A car park is situated in front of the Practice next to St Andrews Church for Patient use. This has 19 parking spaces for Patients with 2 spaces for Patients with mobility difficulties. Additional parking is available at the Village Hall approximately 50 metres from the Dispensary this has 25 parking spaces and 2 spaces for Patients with mobility difficulties. The Staff all park at the village hall to allow patients to park in the church car park.

The Practice and Church have also improved the lighting for the car park, particularly relevant during the winter months.

Disabled Patients

Within the Practice all patient areas have good wheelchair access.

A toilet for the disabled is provided with an alarm system through to reception if you require urgent assistance.

There is a buzzer at the front entrance should you need assistance at the main entrance with the doors. The Practice is aiming to replace the doors with automatic opening doors within the next 12 months.

The Dispensary has a ramp with handrail to the entrance and automatic doors.

Please ask at reception if you would like to use the Practices portable hearing loop.

A Wheelchair is available, please ask a receptionist if you need to use it during your visit.

Guide dogs and support dogs are welcome within the Practice.

All except one clinical room have electric variable height examination couches.

Patient information is available in large print if required.

A Patient information folder is available in the waiting room.

Baby Facilities

The Practice has baby changing facilities in the patient toilet in the front foyer. If you would like privacy whilst breastfeeding your baby please ask at reception.
